Description

Name: “Spinefinch Tree”
Height: An average size is about the same as the tallest tree on earth ( When Mature)
Length: 20 Feet
Weight: 2 Tons
Species: Previously undiscovered large spined shrub
Sex: none
Abilities: Asexual Reproduction

The Spinefinch Tree is asexual, meaning it doesn't need another Spinefinch tree to spread its DNA. What happens is when the leaves fall off, the Leaves will send roots down and begin growing.

It was the first thing we saw out the window, I was the first explorer picked for this job. This tree was huge, and I mean huge! You felt like an ant to a human when you stood by this tree, but there wasn't just one or two, there were forests of them, hundreds or thousands in a bunch. We knew there would be life here, but we had no idea it was something this big! but, little did I know, this wasn't the biggest thing out there...

Name: “Grappletongue”
Height: 6 in. (Stomach to Back)
Length: 4 Feet
Width: 3 Feet (Gliding)
Weight: 10 Lbs
Species: Previously Undiscovered Small Gliding amphibian Organism ( caeli volucrum )
Male: Lines of bright Bioluminescent on its wings and tails to help attract mates.
Female: Larger wings and claws, no tails, and a larger proboscis.
Abilities: Grapple like tongue

The Grappletongue was the first animal I saw, gliding from Spinefinch to Spinefinch. It would launch its tongue located on its back into a Spinefinch tree in mid flight, stick its sharp proboscis out and swing into the tree, puncturing the hard bark. It would sit there for two or three minutes a time, sucking out liquids and sugars.
